“Ambulance” (2022)

“Ambulance” (2022) is a high-octane action thriller directed by Michael Bay, known for his explosive, fast-paced filmmaking style. The film, a remake of a 2005 Danish film of the same name, delivers on Bay’s signature style, with relentless action sequences, intense drama, and a chaotic narrative.
The story revolves around two adoptive brothers, Danny Sharp (Jake Gyllenhaal) and Will Sharp (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). Will, a war veteran struggling with financial problems and desperate to cover his wife’s medical bills, reluctantly agrees to join Danny in a bank heist. Danny, a charismatic and reckless criminal, leads the operation, which quickly spirals out of control.
The heist goes wrong, resulting in a shootout with the police, and the brothers find themselves on the run. In their desperate attempt to escape, they hijack an ambulance, taking two hostages: EMT Cam Thompson (Eiza González) and a critically injured police officer. What follows is a relentless chase across Los Angeles, with the brothers evading the police while tensions rise within the ambulance as they struggle to keep the officer alive and navigate their own moral dilemmas.
