S.W.A.T. (2003) is an action film directed by Clark Johnson and is based on the 1970s TV series of the same name. The film features an ensemble cast led by Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Farrell, and Michelle Rodriguez.
The film centers around an elite unit within the Los Angeles Police Department known as the Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.) team. The story kicks off when a notorious criminal, Alex Montel (played by Olivier Martinez), is captured by the S.W.A.T. team. Montel, who is known for his violent crimes, offers a $100 million reward to anyone who can free him. This makes him a prime target for various criminal organizations.
The S.W.A.T. team, led by Lt. Dan Harrelson (played by Samuel L. Jackson), is tasked with transporting Montel to a secure location. However, they face numerous challenges and threats from both outside and within their ranks as they navigate this high-stakes operation.
