Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989)

Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989) is the fifth film in the Star Trek franchise, directed by William Shatner, who also reprises his role as Captain James T. Kirk. The film features the original series cast, including Leonard Nimoy as Spock, DeForest Kelley as McCoy, and other familiar characters.

The Enterprise crew becomes embroiled in his quest when Sybok takes control of the ship and forces them to embark on a mission to the Galactic Barrier at the edge of the galaxy.
As they journey towards the barrier, the crew confronts various challenges, including Sybok’s manipulation and the philosophical implications of his quest. The film culminates in a confrontation at the barrier, where the crew must confront both the nature of their own beliefs and the true nature of Sybok’s quest.
