In this fantasy, they must complete a series of missions to gather five items that will enable their escape from their captors.
The plot shifts between the real world, where Babydoll and the other girls are imprisoned in the asylum, and Babydoll’s imaginary worlds, where she and her companions fight in elaborate, stylized action sequences. Guided by a wise man (played by Scott Glenn), Babydoll leads her friends through various battle zones, each symbolizing a step closer to freedom.
