Freddy vs. Jason is a 2003 crossover slasher film directed by Ronny Yu that combines two iconic horror film franchises: A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th. The film brings together Freddy Krueger (played by Robert Englund), the nightmarish villain from A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Jason Voorhees (Ken Kirzinger), the unstoppable killer from Friday the 13th, for an epic showdown.
